1. What This Site Is

This website is an informational site for Golden Palace Buffet. It shows our menu, hours, location, and photos. You can also browse the menu and place a pickup order on this site.

Links that say “order online” open the ordering pages of this same site. Card payments are handled by our payment provider, Stripe, under its own privacy policy; we never receive or store your full card number.

2. Information We Collect

You do not need an account to order. When you place an order we collect your name, phone number and email address, your order details and any special instructions, so the restaurant can prepare it and reach you about it. Payment details go straight to our payment provider — we do not store full card numbers. Whether or not you order, we also collect the following automatically:

• Standard technical data your browser sends: device type, browser, operating system, approximate location derived from your IP address, and the pages you visit
• Analytics events describing how the site is used — for example which pages are opened and which buttons are tapped
• Session recordings: an anonymized replay of mouse movement, scrolling, and clicks on the pages you visit

3. Analytics and Session Recording

We use Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) to measure traffic, and Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation) to understand how visitors use the site.

Microsoft Clarity records sessions. A recording captures how you move and click through the pages — it is not a recording of your screen outside this site, your camera, or your microphone. Clarity is configured to mask text you type into form fields.

Both tools set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser, and both send the data they collect to their own servers, where it is processed under their privacy policies.

You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on, and you can block these tools with most browser privacy settings or ad blockers. The site works normally either way.

4. How We Use This Information

We use it to see which pages are useful, find parts of the site that are confusing or broken, and decide what to improve. We do not use it to identify you personally, and we do not build advertising profiles from it on this site.

5. How We Share It

We do not sell this information. It is shared only with the analytics providers named above, as part of their operating those tools for us, and where we are required to disclose it by law.

6. Data Retention

Analytics data and session recordings are kept for the retention period configured in each provider's product — currently up to 14 months for Google Analytics and up to 30 days for Microsoft Clarity — and are then deleted by the provider.

7. Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

8. Your Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what information about you we hold, to ask us to delete it, or to object to its processing. Analytics data is not normally connected to you as an individual; order records are, and we can look one up from your phone number or order number. Contact us with any request and we will respond.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
